It’s our « all time favorite » : the St Regis Bangkok is the luxury hotel we recommend to anyone going to Bangkok looking for a high-end hotel.
The St Regis Bangkok is a 5-star hotel settled in the very-heart of Bangkok. Boasting spectacular views, the hotel also features large glass window and an extremely refined atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place where it’s all about your living comfort, gastronomy, peace and relaxation, you’ve got it. Pure happiness.
Why we love it
Rooms & Suites are huge, from 45m² to 115m², and allow you great views on the city (amazing at night). Exceptional bedding, divine design and super-equipped rooms. We also loved taking a bath while contemplating the city !
[styled_box title=”THINGS YOU’LL LOVE TOO” class=””]
– you get a Butler to assist you during your stay. It’s one of the St Regis signatures all around the world, and having someone ready to organize your restaurant reservations, transportation, coffees and even to unpack and pack your stuff is just the kind of thing that makes a huge difference.
– you can grab a coffee to go in the morning (better than Starbucks) to finish your breakfast on the sunny terrace
– the swimming-pool is just GREAT to swim or sunbathe while overlooking Bangkok.

The St Regis Bangkok Breakfast: name it, you got it
Tons of fresh products, amazing buffets, live cooking and pretty much everything you need/want/crave, including a selection of different countries.
Restaurants & Bars
The St Regis Bangkok has several restaurants. We have tried them all and they’re amazing: the italian restaurant JoJo features authentic italian Chefs, dishes and products (including a remarkable truffle pizza), while Viu is the perfect place for a light lunch or a huge champagne brunch on Sundays…with a view (and you can also watch the horse races above). On the main floor, japanese Zuma is the place to be, though not part of the hotel per se.
Wine lovers will go to the Decanter, which features an impressive cellar, for Bangkok especially, while at the St Regis Bar, cocktails come with a view from the 12th floor. Don’t miss the Bloody Mary, since it was invented in a St Regis hotel in 1934 and has been turned into a Siam bloody Mary at the St regis bangkok. Oh, and another pure St Regis tradition: every evening at sunset, champagne is cracked open on the terrace with an original sword. Not that scary, you’ll see.
The Elemis Spa
The St Regis Bangkok was the first one in SouthAsia to partner with worldwide-known brand Elemis. Skin treatments, relaxing or deep-tissue massages, high-tech equipment and very well-trained staff allow you to let go after a long day visiting the city. Or handling jetlag, if you just landed.
Book a double treatment room if you’re a couple and experience the quietness of the whole floor. It’s amazing.
Alright, there’s one thing we don’t like
WiFi is not complimentary…it’s a Starwood thing for sure, but that does not excuse the fact that if 7/11 and McDonalds can offer you a free connexion, so should luxury hotels.
Location
Close to the main shopping malls (Siam Square, MBK…), the St Regis Bangkok has a direct access to the metro station Rajadamri (a huge asset in this city where traffic can be such a pain in the aXX). From BKK Airport, it should take you 35-45 minutes to come by taxi (again, depending on traffic).
Sex & the City Verdict
Book it for your next stay. You’ll love it (we miss it)
