The Siam Kempinski Bangkok, Luxury Hotel in the center of Bangkok - Thailand

Siam Kempinski is situated at the heart of Bangkok’s most important shopping district, a short distance away from the Paragon Malls, Siam and a little further from the MBK. In a town difficult to access during peak hours, the Siam Kempinski is a godsend with its touch of luxury rendering visits unforgettable.

The Siam Kempinski is a haven of peace in the midst of a bustling district. It is the perfect place for hours of shopping (or for visiting the house of Jim Thompson) before swimming in the large pool of this “urban resort” surrounded by hundreds of rooms and suites which are worth visiting.We were impressed with the design of the rooms, the private balcony and the exceptional quality of the breakfast we had on the terrace, sporting Ray-Bans and still recovering from the after effects of an excellent supper served the night before (although that didn’t stop us from ordering the eggs benedict).

And have we mentioned the free wifi and the mini bar offered with soft drinks and snacks? For food lovers, the Siam Kempinski harbours the fabulous Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin (the one and the same Michelin star winner from Denmark). It serves fusion cuisine based on Thai and northern European influences and features a lunch and dinner which you are bound to remember for a very long time.

Frankly speaking, we have tried them both and are yet to forget the experience. Just like the spa and the gym installed at a high level, beside a mini villa with an open ceiling which is certainly available for reservation…

So, why visit?

Because it is an excellent option. And even if you do not intend to stay overnight, you should at least sample its unforgettable restaurant Sra Bua by Kiin Kiiin.
